Tania Mannion
received a Bachelor of Music in Vocal
Performance from California State University, Sacramento in 2003.
While studying at CSUS, she was a member and frequent soloist
in various groups including the Opera Workshop, Women's Choir
and Chamber Choir. Recent solo peformances include the alto solo
in Bach's Magnificat with the Davis Chorale and art song recitals
at CSUS Music Recital Hall and various churches in Sacramento
and Southern California. Early in her career she performed as
part of the ELATE musical theater team in North Hollywood with
roles in The Music Man, Godspell, Cottonpatch Gospel and Annie
Get Your Gun. Tania spent ten years on staff at Davis Community
Church as the director of the children's choir and six years as
Assistant Director of the Davis Children's Chorale. Tania is a
member of the American Choral Director's Association (ACDA), Music
Educator's National Conference (MENC) and National Association
for Teachers of Singing (NATS). Tania currently directs a high
school choir in Sacramento, teaches private voice at her home
in Davis and continues her own vocal studies with Dr. Robin Fisher.
